Guide to connecting your business WhatsApp

Service in preparation. Activation awaits Meta approval and final testing. You can request information; paid subscriptions are not yet available.

Updated 25 October 2026.

1. Prepare the business and agreement

Review the quote and complete the data processing agreement. Identify the owner of the portfolio, WhatsApp account and number. Do not delete or migrate your mobile app: number changes or migration require a separate assessment and authorisation.

2. Sign in to the client area

Use your authorised email at /clientes and enter the eight-digit code, which expires after ten minutes. Do not share it. The owner can invite agents and viewers through Team; invitations expire after seven days and are accepted only after verifying the invited email.

3. Authorise WhatsApp when enabled

The owner authorises their own account through Meta with management and messaging permissions. The connection remains pending until the account, number, permissions and webhook subscription are verified. Enter any Meta PIN yourself. Customer onboarding is currently disabled while review is completed.

4. Prepare contacts and templates

Register only appropriately authorised contacts and retain evidence. Templates require Meta approval; the panel supports the compatible variables and buttons shown in its preview. Media template headers are not supported in that editor. Reply attachments are prepared separately and require an open service window. Outside 24 hours, only the appropriate approved templates may be used.

5. Test and check delivery

First test with your own authorised recipient. Check sending, delivery and reception in activity: Meta accepting a request does not prove delivery. If the result is unknown, check its status before sending again. Commercial activation requires these checks.

6. Maintain access and get help

Review expiry warnings and renew authorisation through Connection when enabled. The owner can remove members or disconnect the business. For issues, changes or data requests: jm@unapersona.es. Never email passwords, tokens or verification codes.
